The Letter from a World Guardian
The opened letter had been sitting on his desk for some time now. Much of it was things he had suspected, in some way or another. He knew the World Guardian well by this point, and he could easily have guessed that the few times they “crossed” each other had distressed her as much as they had him. He also knew full well that those times, she had little choice in the decisions she made. After several times rereading the letter, with not a few curious impulses from Zaros (for he’d done his best to conceal the letter’s contents), Azzanadra picked up a quill and some fresh parchment, ready to pen his reply.

In his own private chambers, Azzanadra sat upon his bed and sighed, his eyes falling onto the pocket on the front of his robes, inside held the sealed letter that was a surprise delivery from a certain talking skull called Postie Pete
'Mail!, You have mail!' a loud squeaky voice called from behind them, making him jump; while next to him, his lord, Zaros, jumped right into the shadow realm, making him invisible. A second later, a skull, dragging behind him a sack twice his size, came gliding in.
'What do you want” he growled, as he calmed his breathing down from the shock of the unexpected intruder,
